A mid-range petrol car consumes about 6 l/100 km. At a price of CHF 1.85/l, that's around CHF 11.10 per 100 km. In city traffic the consumption is higher (7–9 l/100 km), on the motorway usually lower (5–6 l/100 km).
The monthly rate is often lower for petrol cars than for comparable hybrids, but the fuel costs are higher. Those who mainly drive short distances in the city often benefit from the hybrid; with a lot of motorway driving, the petrol car is more economical.
No. You pay for fuel yourself – this is deliberately the only variable cost item in the car subscription. All other items (insurance, servicing, tyres, taxes, vignette) are included in the fixed price.
